the tool of the day#%#!!!
today i have been removing my rear sub frame bushings sins the bushings form the gtr are higher en the studs on the gt is shorter.
i got a sett of bushings from Driftworks, ha have used it i the past end i like the feel it has on the car,
i have limited tools but sins i am a tool (by hacking a GTR34) i think it will work.
1. drop down the sub frame (i feel its fester to just drop it down whit the ass in the air)
2. have the wheel on i think it makes the job faster
3. Get 2 jacks end support the sub frame so it don`t move about
4. get a drill whit a 10mm. end drill as many holes as you can
5. i used a Carpenter saw hit a steel blade i used the blade i got for wood :S
6. cut bee twin the holes
7. hammer time the center
8. spray rust penetrated spray on top end on the bottom
9. hammer time whit a shissel so yo bend the flanges work it around
10. flip the sub frame end do the same her butt when you bend the metal in use the saw end cut it so you can hammer time it
11. hammer hammer time end spray whit the rust penetrated spray
12. it will slide out
13. sand down if you did damage ore chip the sub frame
14. spray it (i used 3 in one can)
15. press in the sub frame bushings first one whit out the center end den then one white the center
16. soft hammer time. (ore get yore kid to do ti)
17. lift the sub frame in place. whit the washer
18. tighten the sub frame
19. bro fits
Pic time :)
Toools of the day
